Kaitlynn's Fundraiser To Help Children In Africa

Hey folks, this is Lynic from 3rd Wave. My young niece, Kaitlynn, is raising money to supply clean water to kids at schools in Africa, as they have a huge problem there with contaminated drinking water. This is Kaitlynn's second year of fundraising for this cause and once again she has taken this on completely of her own initiative, this is not a school project or a church fundraiser.  Last year Kaitlynn raised approximately $2,000 in cash and was able to secure the support of a Canadian government organization called C.I.D.A. who matched her efforts 3 to 1 making a total of over $7,500 toward fresh water for children ! Pretty darn commendable for a 12 year old girl I'd say. In 2007 3rd Wave collected and passed on approx.$400 of donations collected at our shows...thanks!

This year Kaitlynn is back at it and 3rd Wave will be performing at her Fundraising Event April 5th. Tickets are only $7 advance. Admission is free for children 8 and younger. Bring the family out for some Saturday fun and check out whats up for grabs at the silent auction ! All proceeds to WaterCan's Clean Water for Schools program.  At the event, tax receipts will be available for donations over $15. Also, at any time, 3rd Wave will gladly pass on any donations to Kaitlynn. Thanks and we hope to have your generous support again this year !
